Important Updates

• 3/24/25 Doug Caseman has stepped down from the Bargaining team and the LMC.

• 3/17/25 Ethan Turner has stepped down as Social Media Officer. Dave Hennings has stepped down from LMC and Bargaining Committees due to PDMC reclass.

• Parks Operations Small Table Negotiation team has begun meeting in preparations for negotiations. Contact your Worksite Leader, fill out a Member Survey on this website, or reach out via email to share your requests for updates to your contracts. Please read your Coalition Labor Agreement and our Appendix 010 to understand what is covered by each contract. Remember- You are the Union!!

• Feb 2025 CLA negotiations are scheduled and taking place every other Tuesday and Thursday, Feb 11th- April 10th.

• 02/16/25 - The informal meeting is a place to share what has been going on with your district, any concerns or issues you have, and to catch up with your fellow workers. We want to eventually host some in-person meetings at a central location that is easy for most people to access. We will also have the Zoom meeting set up, so if you can’t make it in person, you can always attend virtually.

  The formal meeting on Wednesday, February 26, will have important updates that will be shared with members only.

• 02/16/25 - Ed Washington will continue to be our union representative while Grant Engle finishes transitioning from representing the K -12 chapters of Local 925. We will continue to update you on this process and let you know when Grant starts as our new union representative.

• New Surveys have been posted to collect member input for upcoming Bargaining, LMC and political endorsement interviews with SEIU Local 925 and County Executive and Council Member Candidates.

  • We recently held local elections for our 4-year officers, Labor Management Committee, Contract Bargaining Team, and Shop Stewards. The election ran from December 11 through December 18 with a total turnout of 51 voters out of 106 eligible electors.
